About 9 o'clock a.m., Friday, July 17, the body of John Aungst was found in the woods of the farm on which he resided about two miles west of Bellville. He left home Thursday evening to hunt for missing hogs but his family was not alarmed until next morning by his failure to return as he often would go away from home in the evening and not return until late at night.
Coroner Baughman was called and the body was not removed until his arrival. Aungst had fallen forward upon his face and as he had been subject to attacks of heart disease the coroner found that he came to a natural death from that cause.
The deceased was 55 years old and leaves a wife and nine children.
Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m.
